Samsung Announces 256GB microSD Card For $249

That’s a lot of storage

Samsung today has announced the arrival of their biggest capacity microSD card yet. The EVO Plus 256 GB is a Class 10 microSD card made for high-end smartphones and tablets as well as devices that require high capacity, high performance storage solution like 4K cameras and drones. The read and write speeds show it – it has read speeds of up to 95MB/s and write speeds of up to 90MB/s.

Not many devices can support the card yet, but as more and more phones and devices start supporting higher storage cards, the new microSD card should find a home in an enthusiasts’ device sooner rather than later. You will have to shell out $249 (around 11.6K) for it, so make absolutely sure you don’t lose it when you buy one.
