Samsung Confirms Key Features of the Galaxy S10 and S10+

Samsung equipped the Galaxy S10 with a number of interesting features

As we are literally a week away from the official unveiling of the Galaxy S10 family, Samsung is pretty generous in teasing the key features one by one. In a series of teasers, Samsung showcased the features that will make their 2019 flagship stand out. While the punch hole display is a given, Samsung emphasized their use of an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for the vanilla S10 and S10+.

Next up, the Galaxy S10’s front cameras will be interesting: aside from emphasizing its ability to shoot video selfies in 4K, they are rumored to be a 10-megapixel snapper with OIS and Dual Pixel Autofocus.

Then you have the wireless charging capabilities: all three variants will support 15W fast wireless charging and 9W reverse wireless charging—the latter being an essential feature for the upcoming Galaxy Buds.

Speaking of the Galaxy Buds, the successor to the Gear IconX (2018) will have double the internal storage at 8GB, Bluetooth 5.0, and an IPX2 rating.

However, the Galaxy Buds have a smaller battery than the Gear IconX, though the Galaxy S10’s reverse wireless charging should solve that. They are rumored to be part of the Galaxy S10 pre-order promo and will be sold separately come March.
