Samsung Confirms Official Launch Date for the Galaxy S10 Series

They will be holding it in an event separate from MWC

The wait for the Galaxy S10 family is almost over: Samsung announced via its social media channels that the official launch will be on February 20.

Unlike last year where it launched the Galaxy S9 series at MWC in Barcelona, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S10 series at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. While the teaser video obviously has the number 10 on it, the slim black line dividing the 0 number indicates that Samsung has practically eliminated the bezels and avoided the notch once again. This fuels speculation that the Galaxy S10 will use a punch hole display.

The teaser’s color motif hints at the possible colors for the Galaxy S10, including one that appears like a gradient blue color. For the launch event, we expect to see three Galaxy S10 phones: the vanilla S10, the S10 Lite, and the S10+. The 5G-enabled variant will reportedly launch at a later date, though we will not be surprised if Samsung decides to launch it on February 20.
