Will it be the best Note ever?
After Samsung confirmed the launch date of the Galaxy Note 9, new details about its specs and features have surfaced thanks to veteran tech blogger Eldar Murtazin.
Saying that he held on a pre-production unit, Murzatin said that the Galaxy Note 9 will look similar to the Galaxy Note 8 save for the repositioned fingerprint scanner. On hand, the Galaxy Note 9 is heavier than its predecessor as it uses a bigger 4000mAh battery. The bigger battery claims up to “one or two days of work”, but that remains to be seen.
Other changes include the RAM and storage configuration: The base model will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Other variants include a 6GB/256GB and an 8GB/512GB—the latter being a first for the South Korean brand.
As for the Note’s S Pen, Murzatin adds that the pen will gain Bluetooth support, and will gain several work modes including unlocking the phone using the S Pen.
