It is the first phone to score 100 in DxOMark’s video test
Huawei’s P30 Pro just met its match: DxOMark recently reviewed the Galaxy S10+ 5G gave it an overall score of 112—the same score with Huawei’s quad camera beast.
Breaking down the scores, the Galaxy S10+ 5G scored lower than the P30 Pro in the photography department because the latter boasts of a 5x optical zoom feature—the Galaxy S10+ 5G’s telephoto camera is limited to 2x optical zoom.
On the video category, the Galaxy S10+ 5G beats the P30 Pro with a score of 100—the first smartphone to breach the 100 mark, beating Xiaomi’s Mi 9 by a point. DxOMark credits the Galaxy S10+ 5G’s stellar video performance with its improved 4K video—detail, textures, artifact and noise performance is significantly better compared to the Galaxy S10+.
Aside from a stellar camera performance, the Galaxy S10+ 5G is the top dog for DxOMark’s selfie category with a score of 97. You can read through DxOMark’s full review here.
