Samsung Philippines launches the Galaxy S3
Samsung Philippines gathered media, bloggers, celebrities, partners, and distributors in NBC Tent last night and launched their latest flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S3. With the theme and styling very similar to the international launch held earlier this year (yes they had an orchestra), the event was all set to knock the socks off everyone who was in attendance. And it definitely did!
The level of preparation and attention to detail put into the event lasted from the very start until the end. The entrance of the NBC Tent had several cocktail tables, a giant photo wall, and waiters were serving wine to loosen everybody up. The people assigned to registration were all dressed to the nines and they welcomed everybody with warm and charming smiles. There were also no pens or forms of paper in the registration desk as they just had to check if you were on the list on their Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7+.
The actual event area was even more stunning! A giant video wall was set up on the stage and the first thing that popped into my head was that it would probably be mind-blowing to play Diablo 3 on that baby, haha! Round tables were set-up all over the place (kinda reminded me of a wedding). There was a giant circular curtain covering the center of the area which contained the demo units of the Galaxy S3.
The event kicked off with the orchestra playing several songs. Dinner was served and finally several executives from Samsung appeared on stage to welcome everyone followed by a fascinating demo of the Galaxy S3. After the demo the giant white curtains were raised and everyone was invited to try out the new flagship smartphone of Samsung.

Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy S3 will be available in Samsung stores and various gadget shops starting June 9 with an SRP of Php32,990. Globe and Smart will start offering it as early as June 1. The Galaxy S3 is available in White and in Pebble Blue.
