Right after Samsung announced the price cut to its two flagships in Europe a few days ago, it looks like the Korean company has also cut prices of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge here in the Philippines. According to a photo spotted by peeps in the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge – Philippines Facebook group, the Galaxy S6 32GB is getting a price cut of Php 6,000, now retailing at just 29,990 while the 32GB version of the S6 Edge gets a Php 7,000 cut, retailing at just 34,990. Similarly, the 64GB version of the S6 is getting a Php 7,000 cut and will now retail for just Php 34,990, while the 64GB version of the S6 Edge gets a Php 8,000 cut and will now retail for Php 39,990.
Samsung is reportedly cutting the price of both devices to try and boost sales in preparation for the arrival of two new models, the Note 5 and the bigger Galaxy S6 Edge+.
