Samsung Gives the Galaxy Z Flip a Hefty Price Cut

If you have been eyeing the Galaxy Z Flip for the longest time with its statement look and groundbreaking foldable display with Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG), Samsung has made the posh clamshell phone more affordable for this month.

Following an initial Php 5k price cut from its original Php 79,990 SRP, we spotted the Galaxy Z Flip at the Samsung Store in Podium, where it is marked down to Php 55,990. That makes the flagship clamshell phone Php 24k more affordable compared to its launch price.

While it does not come with 5G—there’s no word yet if the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is coming to our shores—this 4G version is still great with its Snapdragon 855+ processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and its groundbreaking 7-inch Full HD+ Infinity Flex display with UTG.

The Galaxy Z Flip does come with capable cameras with Samsung’s tried-and-tested 12-megapixel f/1.8 primary camera with Super Speed Dual Pixel PDAF and OIS and 12-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera. The battery may be on the small side at 3300mAh, but you do get 15w wired charging and wireless charging.
