More RAM and more storage
More than a month ago, Samsung introduced new J Series handsets in the form of the J7 (2017) and J5 (2017). Now, the Korean tech magnate has debuted a new member of the family in Thailand, the J5 Pro. The Samsung J5 Pro, in a nutshell, basically just builds on the J5 (2017) by adding more RAM and internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy J5 Pro
- Samsung Exynos 7870 octa-core processor
- ARMÂ Mali-T830 graphics unit
- 3GB of RAM
- 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 1280 x 720 resolution
- 32GB of expandable storage, up to 256GB via microSD
- 13-megapixel rear camera
- 13-megapixel front camera
- Dual SIM, with 4G LTE, LTE-A
- WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS
- Fingerprint scanner
- 3000mAh battery
- Android 7.0 Nougat
For now, the Samsung J5 Pro will only be sold in Thailand, with no word from the company whether it’ll be reaching a wider SEA distribution. It’s currently priced at 9,990 Baht (~Php 15K), which will probably see some adjustment given that the J7 Pro is now retailing in the Philippines for around Php 16K.
