You can finally own the night
The cameras on Samsung’s Galaxy S10 flagships are pretty great already, but they were always missing something: a dedicated night mode. While the S10 family had the capability for night shots in its Bright Night feature, the decision to take long exposure shots was always left in the hands of the AI in the phone.
That is until Samsung issued a new software update that allows users to use a dedicated Night Mode for nocturnal shooting. The update has already made its way to users in Switzerland and is slowly being seeded to other countries as well. The update also includes the April 2019 security patch.
The update should roll out to other countries soon, but if you’re impatient you can go to Download and install in the Settings » Software update menu once in a while to see if it has arrived.
