With the Galaxy Note 7 out of the running, Samsung has to convince consumers somehow to still go with them for their flagship device. And what better way to do that than to launch a color variant that was supposed to be exclusive to the Note 7 for the Galaxy S7 Edge.

The Blue Coral Galaxy S7 Edge sports the same stunning color variation that first appeared on the Note 7, which is complimented by a gold tone hue on the phone’s metal frame.

Aside from that new color, nothing’s been changed in the phone. It’s still one of the best flagship smartphones currently out in the market, despite its age. It’s certainly not a Galaxy Note 7, but most people would argue that the Note 7 was basically just a S7 Edge with a stylus anyway.

The new variant will be introduced in selected markets only – right now we don’t have an idea if that includes the Philippines.
