Samsung Records Highest-Ever Profit for its 3Q 2017 Earnings

Even better than its 2Q 2017 earnings

The reports for Samsungs 3Q 2017 earnings are out, and they’re nothing short of astonishing: The South Korean company posted a record-high $12.91 billion in operating profits. This figure is almost three times higher compared to the same period last year.

While the $930 Galaxy Note 8 was not able to help the company’s decrease in profit for its mobile division, the main money maker involves the company’s chips and display businesses. This can be explained as more brands go to Samsung for parts, like the OLED panel used on the Apple iPhone X or the DRAM chips used in servers, mobile devices, PCs and game consoles.

In addition, Samsung announced that it will be appointing new leaders for its Display, Consumer Electronics, and Mobile division.

With these reports, it seems that Samsung has completely recovered following last year’s Galaxy Note 7 fiasco. What do you think guys?
