Samsung is strengthening their grip on the wearable market
The wearable market is projected to become a big market in the next few years, and Samsung wants to get a head start on the booming market it gets too crowded (if it wasn’t crowded enough already). That’s probably the reason why the Korean company released another wearable, this time aimed at the active crowd – the Gear Fit. The Fit is the first ever curved Super AMOLED wearable in the market according to Samsung, and is contoured to conform to the wrists of consumers.
The Gear Fit has all the functions that you’d expect from a fitness wearable, which includes a customized, real time fitness coaching with personalized advice and workout recommendations. The Gear Fit also works much like the Gear series of devices before it, letting you know when you have text messages, emails and calls from your smartphone.
The Samsung Gear Fit will start shipping in April, though we don’t have pricing as of this time.
