Punch hole displays are the next smartphone design trend
Move over Huawei: Samsung will be launching the punch hole display-equipped Galaxy A8s on December 10, a week ahead of Huawei’s unveiling of the similarly-designed Nova 4.
The teaser poster depicts a silhouette of the Galaxy A8s with a metal frame, a dedicated Bixby button, and a display showcasing the tiny cutout for the camera at the upper left corner.
Rumored specs for the Galaxy A8s include a Snapdragon 710 processor, 6GB RAM triple rear camera setup, and a 24-megapixel front camera. While both the Galaxy A8s and Nova 4 have the same display design and the same display manufacturer, the former intends to be the more premium model.
