Samsung Working on Bean-Shaped Galaxy Buds

To feature an all-new design

Samsung launched its improved Galaxy Buds+ last February, and it has improved key features from its predecessor. Chief among these are bigger batteries for longer battery life, updated drivers, and three microphones for better noise isolation.

With much praise for the Galaxy Buds+, Samsung is reportedly working on an all-new design according to Roland Quandt. Carrying the model number SM-R180, the upcoming TWS earbuds have an all-new design that resembles a bean. The new design makes the more compact than the current Galaxy Buds+, though you lose the silicone ear tips.

Even without the silicone ear tips, the design is said to have a better fit. Some key features include two small speaker units, ambient noise reduction, and built-in microphones for improved audio capture.

There’s no word yet when they will release, but Quandt predicts that they will launch alongside the Galaxy Note 20 series.
