Samsung’s Galaxy M20 is Shaping Up to be a Strong Mid-Range Contender

Samsung is getting serious with its mid-range line

Samsung has been focusing on improving its mid-range line by introducing new features. They have started that with the triple rear camera-sporting Galaxy A7 (2018), then with the quad rear camera-sporting Galaxy A9 (2018). A few weeks back, Samsung unveiled the first phone with a hole-punch display with the Galaxy A8s.

The trend appears to continue to Samsung’s budget-friendly line as well. Reports about the Galaxy M20 indicate that it will be powered by an Exynos 7885 processor paired with 3GB RAM. Even interesting is that the relatively compact phone will have a hefty 5000mAh battery, along with a 6-inch IPS waterdrop notch display housing an 8-megapixel camera.

Other features include an aluminum unibody frame, a 15-megapixel +5-megapixel rear camera setup, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy M20 will initially launch at select countries in Europe according to reports. No word yet if the Galaxy M20 will be a global release, though there’s speculation that the new M series will replace the Galaxy J and Galaxy On series.
