Samsung’s Galaxy S9 Plus Has The Best Cameras In A Smartphone

At least acording to DxOMark

Looking for another reason to drop cash for Samsung’s new flagships? Well apparently DxOMark have taken the Galaxy S9 Plus through the wringer and have concluded that it’s the best phone you can buy right now if you care about mobile photography.

DxOMark’s 99 score for the Galaxy S9 Plus its above the Google Pixel (98) and the iPhone X (97). The camera benchmark site notes that the phone’s exposure and contrast, color, autofocus as well as flash performance are all excellent on the newest flagship.

“The Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus is a smartphone without any real weaknesses in the camera department,” DxOMark writes. “In both still and video modes, it performs well across the board, delivering consistently good photo and video image quality in all light and shooting situations, thus earning itself our highest DxOMark Mobile score to date.”

The Galaxy S9 Plus is equipped with the new dual-aperture technology that uses two aperture openings – f/1.5 and f/2.4 to shoot photos. The lower aperture is for low-light shooting, while the higher f/2.4 aperture is for shooting in daylight and bright light.
