Hello there Smart LTE Prepaid for Smartphones!

A lot of people probably have their iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S4 for a while now but haven’t had the chance to enjoy Smart’s LTE network because they’re on prepaid. The good news is that they can finally get to do so! Smart just announced the availability of the new Smart LTE prepaid nano SIMs for which will work in smartphones (previous Smart LTE was for iPads and modems). The new sim card will retail for Php100 and will come with Php50 load. Not bad!

Very Timely

This is a very timely product as Smart’s LTE network has proven to be quite reliable and far-reaching coverage. Before LTE signal was so rare but now it’s easy to find it in Metro Manila. Other than the network, more and more LTE-powered devices are now reaching our shores. Other than the iPhone 5 and the Galaxy S4 there’s also the Galaxy Mega 6.3, LG Optimus G, and the Sony Xperia ZR.

We actually compiled a list of our top 10 picks for LTE-enabled smartphones under Php21,000. You can read that by clicking here.

Anyway, we’re very happy with the Smart LTE service. We’re just crossing our fingers that the network will be able to handle the surge of new users in the next few weeks.
