Snapdragon 875 Reportedly Scores almost 850K in AnTuTu

With the Snapdragon 875 expected to be unveiled at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Tech Summit this December, we are still guessing how powerful it is, given that it is rumored to have ARM’s latest Cortex-X1 CPU cores. Recently, a Twitter post shared the alleged score of the Snapdragon 875, which is at almost 848k.

For reference, a Snapdragon 865 score is around 650k, with the iQOO 5 Pro having the highest score at 664k. That translates to a 25% improvement, which is a huge leap for an annual processor upgrade. However, AnTuTu explains that other factors, like RAM and storage configuration, can affect scores as well. We are presuming that the Snapdragon 875 tested here used UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM.

If that’s not interesting enough, another report states that OPPO is testing an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 865 (which presumably might be the Snapdragon 870). The said processor is more powerful than the Snapdragon 865+, with clock speeds going over 3.2Ghz (the Snapdragon 865+ goes at around 3.09Ghz max).

We should know more about Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship chips next month.
