Sony Announces the RX 100 Mark VI

Featuring a broader zoom range and S-Log

Sony gives an update to the RX 100 series with the RX 100 Mark VI. The sixth-generation compact prosumer camera now sports a 24-200mm f/2.8-4.5 equivalent lens, making it the broadest zoom range in an RX 100 camera. On top of that, the RX 100 Mark VI has up to 4-stop image stabilization even at 200mm—quite impressive for a compact prosumer camera.

As for other features, the RX 100 Mark VI now supports S-Log 3 for color grading purposes, especially when shooting 4K HDR video. The display now has a lower resolution compared to the previous model, but you are getting a touchscreen display on the RX 100 Mark VI, which is used primarily for focusing. Other than those changes, the RX 100 VI has the same internals as its predecessor.

The RX 100 VI will be available on July 2018 for $1200(~Php 63k).
