More affordable audio products from Sony
Sony unveiled two new wireless audio products with the WF-XB700 TWS Earbuds and WH-CH710N Noise-Cancelling Headphones. The WF-XB700 serves as an affordable alternative to the WF-1000X M3. Unlike its more premium sibling, the WF-XB700 are sweat-resistant with an IPx4 rating and have Sony’s XtraBass feature for deeper lows. The WF-XB700 does not have active noise cancellation, use physical buttons, and have longer battery life for the earbuds at 9 hours (compared to 6 hours on the WF-1000X M3). For the design, you get a “Tri-hold” construction that Sony claims offers a more ergonomic fit.
The WH-CH710N, on the other hand, is a successor to the WH-CH700N from 2018. While it same 35-hour battery life, the WH-CH710N improves on noise cancellation with dual mics along with an updated design.
The WF-XB700 is priced at $130(~Php 6.7k) while the WH-CH710N is priced at $200(~Php 10.2k). Sony has yet announced the global availability for both wireless audio products as of this writing.
