Sony’s monster point-and-shoot also comes with a monster price
Sony’s RX100 line of point-and-shoots have always impressed their users with their compact size and astounding performance. But as any RX100 owner will tell you, they don’t come cheap, and it seems that the newest member of the family is set to continue that tradition.
Sony Philippines has officially announced that the RX100 MK IV will retail for a whopping Php 49,999 in the PH when it arrives mid-August. That price makes it one of the most expensive point-and-shoots to hit the local market, barring Leica’s offerings.
The Sony RX100 MK IV sports the world’s first 1-inch stacked Exmos RS CMOS sensor, pushing 21-megapixels as well as advanced signal processing, DRAM memory chip and 4K capability.
