Meet the Xperia M2 Aqua!
While Sony’s Xperia Z2 has set the bar for being impervious to water even under less than ideal conditions, its price makes it difficult for regular folk to partake in its glorious IP67 protection. Well, that changes now – Sony has announced their mid-end M2 Aqua, a water-resistant smartphone aimed at the mid-end market.

Sony is boasting that the Xperia M2 Aqua has the highest waterproof rating in any smartphone today, as it’s rated at IP65/68. Right now no information regarding pricing has been made available, though the company is rolling out the smartphone come Autumn to markets including Latin America, Asia Pacific and Europe.
