Sony Reviving P2 Line?

Is Sony going old-school with their new phone?

Sony’s previously announced Xperia Z4 didnt’ impress many of its fans, especially since it’s apparently going to be a Japan-only release by the looks of it. But Sony die-hards may just get their high-end fix yet in the form of the Xperia P2, a previously mid-range device that’s apparently getting the high-end specs treatment. The phone, leaked by Chinese site cnBeta suggests that the P2 will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor running at 1.9GHz, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and feature a 5.2-inch TRILUMINOS IPS display.

The phone will also do away with Sony’s OmniBalance design language, instead will sport a transparent strip that runs along the chin of the device right below the screen. The phone also has drastically reduced bezels on the sides, which makes it look like a better flagship compared to the Xperia Z4.

What do you think? Would you buy the Xperia P2 if it turns out to be a real product?
