Sony Rolls Out Android Oreo Update to Xperia XZ Premium

As promised by the Japanese giant

Since the release of Android Oreo a few months ago, brands have been working hard to port the update to most of their smartphones. While Huawei is working on a beta testing program for the Mate 9, Sony, meanwhile, has started rolling out Android Oreo to the Xperia XZ Premium.

While the update has not yet fully rolled out to all Xperia XZ Premium users, those who are lucky to get the update will notice Oreo-specific features, along with a few additions from Sony. These include 3D creator (first seen in the XZ1 and XZ1 Compact), Predictive Capture, autofocus burst, and app shortcuts that show options when you long press an app icon.
