Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, and Xperia Z5 Premium

Sony is either leaking all of this information intentionally to generate hype for their new products or they’re just really bad when it comes to keeping secrets. According to what looks like an early published official interview video with a French Sony executive, there will be three models of the waterproof Sony Xperia Z5 that will be announced this Wednesday. Check them out below:

  • Sony Xperia Z5: 5.2-inch FHD Display
  • Sony Xperia Z5 Compact: 4.6-inch HD Display
  • Sony Xperia Z5 Premium: 5.5-inch 4K Display

All of them will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip set together with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The phones will also have Sony’s 23.0-megapixel primary shooter and an 8.0-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear-facing camera will have the “fastest autofocus” in the market with 0.03 seconds, a feature called Zoom x5, and it will also have improved low-light photography capabilities. Lastly, all variants will have a fingerprint sensor and while battery rating hasn’t been made public yet, the devices are supposed to go for 2 days without charging.

The full interview can be found below. Watch it now before it gets taken down, hehe.

  1. 4k display on a 5.5″ screen? Parang overkill na yata. Pag nanuod ka ng movies, kita na ba pati ugali ng artista sa sobrang linaw? haha

Di kaya mabigat na masyado sa performance at battery yun for little or no gain?

          1. We’ll see nalang sa full review kung magagawan ng paraan ng sony ang overheating issue ng 810, hahaha XD di rin naman natin malalaman result hanggat wala pang full review

  2. Patay may kumagat na sa ultra-gimmicky and utterly useless 4k lolz…I call Super BS on this with ZERO benefits whatsoever, smartphones should end at 2k/QHD

  3. What the.. 4k? hindi kaya useless yan sa napaka liit na screen? FHD nga ok na e. I’m sure, ang gastos sa battery nyan, lalo na pag 3000 mah lang ang ilalagay ng sony.
