It is just on par with the Pocophone F1

The Sony Xperia 1 recently passed by DxOMark for a series of tests and obtained rather underwhelming results for a 2019 flagship phone. With an overall score of 91, the Xperia 1 is on par with the 2018 Pocophone F1 and 1 point behind the 2017 iPhone 8.

While the Xperia 1 boasted of as triple rear camera setup, Sony’s 2019 flagship phone suffered from corner softness and image artifacts. DxOMark also indicated that the phone’s Auto HDR was inconsistent and that the Xperia 1’s telephoto camera is not up to par due to noticeable artifacts.

As for its selfie camera, the Xperia 1’s score of 78 beats most 2017 flagship phones like the iPhone X, Galaxy S8, and Pixel 2. While the front camera is decent for photos, its poor score in videos pulled down the Xperia 1’s overall score for DxOMark selfie.
