Sony unveiled the successor to its action camera with the RX0 II. The main upgrade with this model is that it now comes with a flip screen—a novel feature GoPro users will be jealous of. The idea of having a flip-up screen is that it makes the RX0 II a pocketable camera for vloggers.
Even if it has a flip screen, the RX0 II is indestructible: it is waterproof for up to 10 meters and is dust/shock/crush resistant—an impressive claim considering that you have joints to worry about.
Going into the internals, the RX0 II comes with a 1-inch stacked 15.3-megapixel CMOS sensor paired with a BIONZ X image processor. This setup lets you shoot up to 16 frames per second for stills and film 4K videos at 30FPS. You also get S-Log2 for added flexibility in post-production and a 1000FPS slo-mo mode with uncompressed HDMI output.
While the RX0 II is pricey at $700(~Php 36.7k), it is hard to find an action camera with such features, not to mention a flip-up screen.
