Sony is crowdfunding on a new product, and it should interest you: called the Reon Pocket, Sony’ latest gizmo is a pocket air conditioner that you place at a special shirt’s pouch. The goal is simple: by using a Peltier effect–best described as heat being transferred via electric current–the Reon Pocket aims to raise or lower temperature without any added bulk or noise.
The portable device can be used in short bursts with up two hours in battery life and is controlled via Bluetooth. Sony expects to launch the product in time for Tokyo 2020 Olympics next year for Jpy 12,760 (~Php 6k). No word yet if Sony plans a global release for the Reon Pocket.
