Soundfreaq Sound Spot Review
In the last two years we’ve reviewed dozens of portable wireless speakers. We didn’t actually bother writing about a lot of them since we felt they were substandard products. The good news though is we found one particular product that actually deserves your hard earned money if you’re in the market one! The Soundfreaq Sound Spot retails for Php3,950 but it delivers the power, sound quality, and clarity of speakers twice the its price! We’re not kidding you — this one is a keeper!
Soundfreaq has actually made a name for themselves already when it comes to wireless speakers. Their earlier products all gave superb value for money as they all sounded as the looked good. The same can be said with the Soundfreaq Sound Spot. It has check marks on design, sound quality, and over-all usability.

The Sound Spot measures 5 inches tall, 5.2 inches wide, and 2.4 inches thick. It’s shaped more like square block which gives it a very solid and sturdy build. Up front we have a circular grille made from painted metal. The control buttons are at the top which includes an easy to spot and use “PAIR” button. At the back we have the audio port, micro USB port for charging, and sound style toggle. Here are some photos:
There are two color schemes you can pick from. There’s a jet black version and the one we have is the “white and wood” variant. We picked this one because it felt and looked different. Most speakers are colored black making ’em all generic.
As for sound quality, the Sound Spot over-delivers. It’s incredibly loud despite its size and price. It can easily fill up a living room, much less a bedroom. The bass is noticeably strong and the vocals and instruments also come out very clear despite set at high volumes.
We’ve been using this for the last week and we definitely have nothing but good words for it. It’s amazing value for money so if you’re in the market for wireless speakers this has to be somewhere at the top of your list. 🙂
