Starmobile Knight Spectra 05

Here’s Starmobile’s newest flagship!

Starmobile has officially taken the wraps off of their newest flagship: the Knight Spectra. Starmobile has always been known as a brand that specialized in providing smartphones with awesome cameras, and the Knight Spectra is simply a culmination of that effort.

Starmobile Knight Spectra specs:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor
  • Adreno 405 GPU
  • 3GB of RAM
  • 5.5-inch full HD, On cell AMOLED display, scratch resistant glass, 1920 x 1080 resolution
  • 32GB of storage, expandable via microSD
  • 13-megapixel rear camera with flash + 2-megapixel rear camera
  • 8-megapixel front camera
  • Dual-SIM 3G, LTE
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, ISDB-T, OTG, DVB Digital TV
  • 3500mAh battery
  • Android 5.1 Lollipop

Anyway, the biggest feature of the Knight Spectra is the dual-camera setup on the back that allows it to change the focus of the shot after it’s been taken. The Spectra manages to do this via the dual cameras on its back. One of the cameras is a 13-megapixel sensor while the other is a 2-megapixel sensor that simply takes depth and other information that’s applied to refocusing the shot after it’s taken.

Aside from the dual-camera, the Knight Spectra is also capable of accessing digital TV channels for crystal clear video and audio.

The Knight Spectra is armed with mid-range specs: a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage and a 5.5-inch On-cell AMOLED full HD panel. The battery is a rather large 3,500mAh unit. Android 5.1 Lollipop keeps everything running nice and smooth.

Starmobile is pricing the Knight Spectra at Php 14,990.

    1. How much were you expecting for this? 9000? 7000? Even LESS? For the price it’s fairly justified.

It’s meant to undercut Samsungs and compete with the tier one Zenfone 2 but this has a more future proof chipset (in terms of software updates, against Cherry Mobiles with inferior Mediateks,) not race to the bargain bin…

        😛

  1. is this better than the asus selfie, which costs 11,999? parang pareho lang ng specs except that starmobile has digital tv.
