Xiaomi Mi Pad

The Mi Pad is available in a number of Sun Broadband Gadget Plans, which starts at Plan 250 which includes 700mb of data. That comes out to just Php 699 a month (Php 449 for the Mi Pad plus Php 250 for the plan). If you’re not happy with the 700mb allocation of Plan 250, you can go up to Plan 350 (non stop surf), Plan 450 (open access 500MB, non stop surf) and Plan 699 (open access 1500MB, non stop surf). Remember, you need to tack the Php 449 per month cost of the Mi Pad on top of those plans, so you’re looking at Php 799 a month, Php 899 a month and 1148 a month, respectively.

We reviewed the Xiaomi Mi Pad a few weeks ago and we found it to be a really powerful tablet at a very good price. You can go here to read our full review of the tablet.

  1. Question: How can you connect this to the internet without gsm/3g? You need pocket wifi right? Kindly educate me.

      1. Still have some questions but i think it’s better to ask Sun. Thanks for the reply and for this post. More powers to you John and to your Unbox Colleagues!

  2. Applied for one earlier. It’s limited to those who registered online (for now), you get a unique code that you show upon application. It’s still subject for approval, 24months lock-in period and includes a pocket wifi on any plan. Plus the units weren’t available yet, according to the representative I talked to, it will be available by monday.
