The Apacer AC630 External HDD Can Take a Beating

An External HDD That Can Handle the Abuse

While light and small harddrives may be easier to transport in your packs, sometimes you need a little heftier; especially if your work entails you to be in the great outdoors or have you travelling all the time. The new Apacer AC630 USB 3.1 Gen 1 military-grade shockproof portable hard drive provides protection from the elements, but is still small enough to not be obnoxious when you put it on top of the table.

With its IP55 certification, the Apacer AC630 is splashproof and dustproof; just in case of those unfortunate spills. It even passed the military drop tests and can be resistant to falls up to 1.22 meters without losing any data. To cushion and absorb some of the shock, the HDD has a single piece of rubber that protects both the internal mechanisms and external structure.

The Apacer AC630 also has a simple yet effective cable management system, so you can keep your bag nice and tidy; without having to rifle through it when you really need to backup your files. Once you connect it up to your notebook it’ll transmit data faster via USB 3.1, so you can go back on the road or into the wild.

You can get the Apacer AC360 in either 1TB or 2TB capacities.
