Even the non-Pro version is impressive

Black Shark continues to make a statement in the gaming phone scene with the Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro. Both phones are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor along with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. To keep the internals cool, both phones use Black Shark’s 4th-generation liquid cooling system.

Aside from a fast 65w charging system, both Black Shark 3 phones have a dedicated magnetic port at the back that delivers 18w charging. The rear camera setup is now a triple camera variety, comprising of a 64-megapixel main camera, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and 5-megapixel depth sensor.

What differentiates the regular Black Shark 3 with the Pro model is the display and battery. The vanilla Black Shark 3 has a 4720mAh battery and a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90hz refresh rate, while its Pro sibling gets a 5000mAh battery, a large 7.1-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display with 90hz refresh rate. Making the Pro model stand out further are its Master buttons—these are physical shoulder buttons that offer better tactile feedback compared to capacitive solutions found on other gaming phones.

Other features found on both phones include front-facing stereo speakers, a headphone jack, pressure-sensitive zones on the display, and a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
