18:9 in an Entry-Level Phone
It’s no secret that the tech world has gone gaga over 18:9 displays. What was once a defining feature for flagship phones has slowly found its way onto mid-range offerings and now even budget-friendly devices are getting the nearly bezel-less treatment. If you’re looking for the most affordable smartphone with an 18:9 display that title currently belongs to the recently released Cloudfone Thrill Boost 3.

In terms of specs, the Cloudfone Thrill Boost 3 is a phone that’s clearly not meant for the heaviest of tasks and is geared towards those who may be on a very tight budget for their smartphones. The phone does present a good entry point to the new 18:9 display trend albeit at a lower pixel density we’re used to seeing at FWVGA+ but we really can’t complain given its price tag.
The Cloudfone Thrill Boost 3 is now available nationwide and costs just Php 2,999.
