To use a better processor?
Samsung has just launched the Galaxy A51 last month. While that model is a 4G version, there are new reports that there’s a 5G version of the Galaxy A51 in the works—and it will arrive in Korea.
Carrying the model name SM-A516N, the N designation signifies that it will be a 5G model. For reference, the global Galaxy A51’s model name is SM-A515F.
While the 4G Galaxy A51 is powered by an Exynos 9611, there are three possibilities: either Samsung adds an Exynos 5100 5G modem to the existing Exynos 9611, swap that for a 5G-enabled Exynos 980, or opt for MediaTek’s Dimensity chips. Should this happen, the Galaxy A51 might become one of Samsung’s first mid-range 5G phones for 2020.
