The Honor 8C Sets to be Another Hit Budget Phone

You can’t go wrong with a big processor AND big battery

While Honor is on a roll with theĀ Honor 8X (and its absurd pricing), this is not stopping the ChineseĀ brand in launching more interesting budget phones. The latest to join the fray is the Honor 8C. On the outside, it looks like a smaller version of the Honor 8X with its 6.2-inch HD+ display.

What makes the Honor 8C interesting are its internals: instead of a Kirin processor, Honor used a Snapdragon 632. The new processor is a successor to the Snapdragon 625/626: while it uses the same Adreno 506 GPU, the Snapdragon 632 utilizes more powerful Kryo 250 cores. Paired with a huge 4000mAh battery, the Honor 8C sets to be a power-efficient budget phone.

Other features include a 13-megapixel f/1.8 + 2 megapixel rear cameras, 8-megapixel f/2.0 front camera, and Android 8.1 out of the box.

The Honor 8C is priced at CNY 1100(~Php 8.7k) for the 4GB/32GB model and CNY 1400(~Php 11k) for the 4GB/64GB variant.
