The Meizu 16T is the Most Affordable Snapdragon 855-Powered Phone to Date

The cheapest Snapdragon 855-powered phone to date?

Meizu is going for the offensive with the Meizu 16T. With a starting price that translates to around Php 14.5k when converted (pending taxes and duties), the Meizu 16T is the most affordable phone with a Snapdragon 855 processor to date.

Its other key highlights include a notch-free, 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with in-display fingerprint scanner, 4500mAh battery with 18w fast wired charging, and triple rear camera setup: 12-Megapixel f/1.9 main camera, 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, and 5-megapixel depth sensor.

For a sub-Php 15k with one of Qualcomm’s most powerful processor for 2019, the Meizu 16T is an absolute deal that can rival what Xiaomi has to offer.

  1. Congrats to meizu for reviving their business. The earthquake really did have an impact to their global branding. Balik na kayo ng pinas, I’m sure maraming naghihintay sa inyo.

  2. Sure they can offer the cheapest phone with this chipset, the question is, what about support? its kinda useless to offer something without support. Even if they came back to the country they will be facing an onslaught of adversaries, xiaomi, oppo, vivo, realme, honor/huawei so good luck to them.
