The Nokia 3.1 Plus Defies the Notch Trend

And is substantially better than its predecessor

After unveiling the Nokia 7.1 last week, HMD Global launched the successor of the Nokia 3.1 with the Nokia 3.1 Plus. The new model has a bigger (yet notch-free) 6.0-inch HD+ display—this time with slimmer bezels.

The rear gets upgraded as well with a fingerprint scanner and a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel f/2.0 main camera and 5-megapixel f/2.4 depth-sensing camera.

The most important upgrade of the Nokia 3.1 Plus is its internals, consisting of a MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with a 3500mAh battery. The large battery, together with a newer and power-efficient processor, should give the Nokia 3.1 Plus a better battery life.

Like its predecessor, the Nokia 3.1 Plus will be available in a 3GB/32GB variant and will retail for INR 11,500(~Php 8.4k).
