The Nova 5z is a More Affordable Nova 5i Pro

The only difference are RAM and storage options

Huawei introduced a new Nova 5 variant in China with the Nova 5z. As what previous renders and teasers have confirmed, the Nova 5z is similar to the Nova 5i Pro that launched a few months back—save for RAM and storage configuration.

With the Nova 5z, you only get 6GB RAM paired with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Everything else is the same: Kirin 810, 6.26-inch Full HD+ punch hole display, 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 f/1.8 main camera, 32-megapixel front camera, and 4000mAh battery with 20w SuperCharge.

The Nova 5z is available for pre-order in China and is priced at CNY 1599(~Php 11.6k) for the 6GB/64GB variant and CNY 1799(~Php 13k) for the 6GB/128GB variant. Both the Nova 5z and Nova 5i Pro are rumored to be known as the Mate 30 Lite globally, though Huawei has yet made either model available outside of China.
