A throwback to the 90s?
OPPO is set to launch a new product line with the Reno. Details about this new product are pretty vague, save for reports that it will utilize OPPO’s 10x lossless zoom tech. Things get more confusing, as new leaks reveal one with a dual rear camera setup. There’s a possibility that there will be two Reno models, and the one with a periscope third camera is the higher-end model.
The Reno has the usual set of buttons, along with USB-C and a headphone jack. What stands out in this leaks, however, is the pop-up module.
Unlike the pop-up modules of the vivo V15 Pro and OPPO F11 Pro, the Reno’s camera module peeks out asymmetrically. The said module houses the front camera and LED flash. This is not the first time such design was used: Olympus used a similar approach to some of its Infinity Stylus film cameras back in the 90s.
