The Razer Stargazer Is A Must For Any Streamer

Razer’s new webcam, the Stargazer, is making life easier for streamers. Streamers no longer have to use annoying green-screen setups for their Twitch/YouTube sessions – the new webcam can now detect and remove the backgrounds automagically. Previously streamers had to setup big, bulky green screen behind them to isolate their faces while streaming to Twitch and YouTube – something that they no longer have to do thanks to Intel’s RealSense technology. The camera can take 720p video at 60FPS which is ideal for streams, though you can up the resolution up to 1080p though you’ll only be shooting at 30FPS.

Since the Stargazer has RealSense tech, it can do face scanning (important for upcoming titles like NBA’s 2K16) and supports hand gestures. The new webcam will arrive in October 2, and will cost $149.
