The Reno5 Series Look More Like an Incremental Upgrade to the Reno4 Series

If you are waiting for the Reno5 Series, you might want to manage your expectations as far as design is concerned. OPPO themselves and China Telecom reveal that the Reno5 series will look very similar to the China version of the Reno4 series save for a slightly different rear camera arrangement.

As for specs, the Reno5 will have a 6.43-inch display, while its Pro sibling will get a 6.55-inch panel. Both phones will use curved OLED displays, have Full HD+ resolutions, and a punch-hole for the 32-megapixel selfie snapper.

For the internals, the Reno5 will have a Snapdragon 765G processor while the Pro version will use a Dimensity 1000+. Both will have 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB variants.

Both will share the same rear camera setup: 64-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras. The same goes for the battery, as both phones will have a 4300mAh cell with 65w wired charging.

Unlike with the Reno4 series, there are reports of a Reno5 Pro+ though there are little details about it. The Reno5 series will debut in China on December 10. As for pricing, the Reno5 is said to be priced at CNY 3299(~Php 24.3k) for the 8GB/128GB model and CNY 3699(~Php 27.3k) for the 8GB/256GB model. The Reno5 Pro, on the other hand, is priced at CNY 3899(~Php 28.8k) and CNY 4299(~Php 41.9k) for the same variants.
