The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) Gets FCC Certified, Launching Soon

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy J7 (2017) phablet recently landed on the US Federal Communications Commission’s certification list with the ID number SM-J727. According to leakster Evan Blass (@evleaks), the phone is slated for launch very soon in the US, with local carriers AT&T, Verizon and US Cellular getting dibs on the first units for sale.

Looking at the rumored specs, there’s not much to differentiate the 2017 refresh from the 2016 (Prime) version, so we’ll have to wait for more concrete info to fully appraise it. The rumor mill is speculating the Galaxy J7 (2017) will be officially announced at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) in late February.
