The Vernee X Has An 18:9 Display, 4 Cameras And A Huge Battery

This phone has piqued our interest

The mid-range market has exploded in recent months, with many value for money devices bursting onto the scene making it harder for the regular Joe to decide what to get as their new phone. While Chinese manufacturer Vernee isn’t officially present in the Philippines, one of their recent offerings make us wish that they were.

The Vernee X has all the hallmarks of a good mid-range phone: 6-inch, full HD+ 18:9 display with a 2160 x 1080 resolution panel, quad cameras (16-megapixel rear camera with 5-megapixel depth sensor, 13-megapixel front camera with 5-megapixel depth sensor) and a full metal body. What it has above the competition is a massive battery, which comes in at 6200mAh.

That’s more than double the battery capacity of regular mid-range phones, and to top it off the Vernee X has fast charging that the company claims is able to completely charge the device in two hours and thirty minutes.

Its innards are pretty impressive as well, as the device has a 2.5GHz Helio P23 chipset, paired with a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There’s a fingerprint scanner for security, and there’s also a face unlock feature in the phone as well.

The Vernee X is currently for pre-order in Gearbest at just $249.99 (around Php 12.5K) for a limited time. If you’re a little iffy about buying a phone overseas, you can check out our guide to importing smartphones from overseas here.
