Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun, revealed, via livestream, that we can expect both phones to be released this month. While he didn’t quite give specifics of when exactly, our source seems to think it will be either on April 11 or April 18; a week or two away from the time we’re writing this article. As we can clearly see, the Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus are primed to be bang-for-your-buck phones considering the hardware its rocking. A few rumors on the interwebs also suggest that both phones may be getting the dual camera treatment as well. We’ve also seen other articles online where the retail box for the phones say that they sport a 30-megapixel rear shooter. We’ll just have to wait until the formal launch of the phone to confirm so of these specs or simply wait for marketing materials to leak out in the public again. We’ll keep our ears on the ground to report anything we find on the device.
