The possibilities are infinite

With technology nowadays, it is not surprising to see smartphones being used to shoot cinematic footage. Couple it with a few tools like gimbals and stabilizers, and one can pull off impressive clips. That’s the case with short film “Vortex”, where filmmaker Tim Sessler shot the whole video using an iPhone 8 and a FreeFly Movi Camera Gimbal.

With only 48 hours to shoot the streets of New York City, Sessler made used of his compact setup to come up with a short movie that showcases unconventional camera movement and angles. In fact, the video is so well-made, we could not believe that it is entirely shot using an iPhone!
