This Is The First High-end Android Nokia Phone: The Nokia 8

Zeiss optics plus dual camera!

While HMD Oy’s current Nokia lineup has impressed many with their aggressive pricing and solid specs. But while the Nokia 6, 5 and 3 may have scratched the itch of some looking for a mid-range and entry-level phones, many die-hard Nokia fans are still waiting for the announcement of a true flagship device from the brand.

And ever reliable tipster Evan Blass may have done just that, via his latest leak of HMD Oy’s next Nokia phone: the Nokia 8. The new phone has been mentioned in an earlier leak detailing the innards of upcoming flagship smartphones, and the information meshes nicely with Mr. Blass’ leak: the Nokia 8 will have a 5.3-inch QHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, paired with a choice of either 4GB/6GB of RAM, have 64GB of internal storage and comes with Android Nougat on board.

More importantly, the Nokia 8 looks to be the first recipient of HMD Oy’s recently inked agreement with German lens manufacturer Zeiss, and the firm has put that partnership to good use, putting Zeiss optics on the dual 13-megapixel rear camera on the back.

All of this is considered a rumor since HMD Oy hasn’t announced anything about the Nokia 8, but considering the source, you can be sure that the above render is accurate.
