This May Be The Official Prices For HTC’s Phone Lineup In The Philippines

Not bad pricing

We’ve been waiting eagerly for HTC to officially announce their arrival in the Philippines, and the prices of their phones along with it. While there’s no official announcement as of yet, the folks from Revu may have stumbled on the official pricing of the phones the company will offer here in Lazada ahead of the local launch.

The phones are listed under Gadget World, and are all currently labeled in stock soon. The listing includes multiple phones starting from the most affordable, the Desire 830 (Php 8,990) all the way to the company’s latest flagship, the U11, listed at Php 36,990.

At that pricing, the U11 will be going head-to-head with the offerings of LG, Huawei and Samsung, which would make the battle for the top end of the market interesting indeed. Also note that if this is indeed the official price of the U11, then it’s pretty competitive considering the variant that will be offered here is the 6GB/128GB version.

The listings confirm what HTC officials have told us in the past that they’ll be selling their phones in Lazada first as they build their distribution network in the Philippines. Honestly we expected the U Ultra to be a bit more expensive, and the U Play is also pretty competitive price-wise compared to other countries – it’s currently listed at SGD 548, which is equivalent to Php 20K.
