Toshiba AT200 Tablet (Android)

Toshiba AT200 good challenger to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1?

Meet the Toshiba AT200 Tablet

Toshiba just announced their newest Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet — the Toshiba AT200! What’s so special about it? Well it’s ridiculously thin at 25.7cm for a 10.1″ tablet! That’s almost 1mm thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1. It’s also very light since it just weighs in at 558g. It has all the standard stuff like micro-USB, micro-SD, WiFi, Bluetooth, and micro-HDMI. There are front and back cameras but the MP and specs weren’t announced in the press release that we got.

One cool feature they included is the Adaptive Sound Device Enhancer. This supposedly improves the sound quality in terms of clarity, balance, and detail. Of course this is just from the spec sheet and the only way to find out if this is true is to have a hands-on (paging Lenovo Philippines).

No price yet or release date for the Philippines. Looks like we’ll be swarmed with Android devices in the next few months. I can only imagine how many tablets and phones there will be by Q1 next year!
